Heils Bakery is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at sales@heilsbakery.co.uk, write to us at 145 London Road North, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1NB, or call 01502 563730.
Information you provide
Our general enquiry and cake enquiry forms ask for information such as your name, email address, and message. The cake form may also ask for a phone number, occasion, date, cake size, flavour, design and other details you choose to provide.
When you submit an enquiry form, the information is sent to our Names.co.uk-hosted website and the server emails it to sales@heilsbakery.co.uk. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message. You can contact us directly by email or phone instead if you prefer.
How we use information
- To reply to questions and provide information you request.
- To check availability, discuss, quote for and manage a cake enquiry or resulting order.
- To operate, maintain and protect the website.
We use enquiry details to take steps you request before entering an order and, where relevant, to fulfil an order. We may also use them for our legitimate interests in responding to customer enquiries and keeping appropriate business records. We use technical request information for the legitimate interests of operating and protecting the website.
Who may handle the information
Relevant bakery staff may access enquiries to respond and manage orders. Names.co.uk hosts the website and email account and handles the form request to deliver the message. Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s servers to display the site typography, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. The Find us page embeds a Google Map; when the map loads, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use storage technologies under its own policies. See Google’s privacy policy. Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other linked services handle information under their own privacy notices.
How long we keep information
The website form handler does not create a separate archive of submissions. Enquiry emails are held in the bakery’s sales mailbox for as long as needed to respond and manage the enquiry. If an enquiry results in an order, we retain relevant order and business records for as long as needed to administer the order and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. We review information and remove it when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us to ask for access to your personal information or to request correction, deletion or restriction of its use. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have the right to object to some uses or ask for a copy of information you provided. Contact us using the details above and tell us how we can help. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not use analytics or advertising pixels. The embedded Google Map may use Google’s storage and similar technologies as described above. Your hosting provider may also use technical mechanisms needed to deliver or secure the site. We will review this notice and provide appropriate choices before adding analytics or advertising technologies that require consent.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the website or the way we handle information changes. The latest version will be available on this page.
